Colleen Ritzer was an inspirational twenty-four year old geometry teacher at Danvers High School in Massachusetts who was loved by her high school students. It’s been one year since she was horribly murdered in a school bathroom, allegedly by one of her students who is now awaiting trial. She continued to inspire even after her death, uniting the communities of her hometown Andover, and Danvers where she had made such a lasting impression that the expression “Danvers Strong” was coined. If you can tomorrow morning, please just take a moment to reflect on Colleen and people like her who make it their life’s mission to help children. Oh. And in Colleen’s own words; “Find something good in every day!”
