She actually wrote this before To Kill A Mockingbird, but the publisher wanted the book with a younger Scout.

I am equal parts dreading and looking forward to this release,To Kill a Mockingbird being one of my all time favourite reads.I think it is a gamble to bring out a sequel of a classic.

I agree. It’s definitely a gamble, but because Harper Lee actually wrote it over 50 years ago, before Mockingbird, I’m hopeful.
