On July 14, 2015, Harper Lee’s sequel to her iconic To Kill A Mockingbird will be released. The book is called Go Set A Watchman, and the story picks up twenty years after the events in the first book. I’ve always wondered what Scout would be like as an adult!

She actually wrote this before To Kill A Mockingbird, but the publisher wanted the book with a younger Scout.

I am equal parts dreading and looking forward to this release,To Kill a Mockingbird being one of my all time favourite reads.I think it is a gamble to bring out a sequel of a classic.

I agree. It’s definitely a gamble, but because Harper Lee actually wrote it over 50 years ago, before Mockingbird, I’m hopeful.
