Hi everyone. I have to apologize for my lack of posts over the past week. Early last Tuesday morning my husband and I lost our almost fourteen year old Pomeranian Lacey. It was rather sudden, and we’re still pretty traumatized. We don’t have children and Lacey was pretty much our baby. I know every pet parent feels like theirs is special and that’s how we felt about our little girl. No matter what was going on in our lives, our Angel never failed to make us smile and bring peace to our souls. I can’t describe the loss we are feeling right now. I realize it will ease over time, but I know our lives were better for having her as part of our family. Anyway, I’m endeavoring to keep busy, which includes not neglecting my blog.

I’m so sorry for your loss. I know how you feel. It’s been a little over a year since my miniature poodle, Cinnamon, crossed over the Bridge at the age of 12, and though the pain of her loss has lessened, she is still greatly missed.

I am sad to hear of the loss of your little Lacey. I know she meant so much to you. She gave you a lot of love and I know you loved her a great deal. So sorry my friend.

I’m so sorry for your loss. We have three dogs, and I know how much a part of you they become, and vice-versa. I’m sure you gave her a wonderful life. Take comfort in that. Post again when you’re ready; we’ll be here.

I’m so very sorry to see this. Losing a pet is every bit as devastating as any loss can be and we wouldn’t want to live in a world without our beloved “kids”. Do take care of yourself and allow yourself to grieve as much and as long as you need to.

I’m so sorry for your loss.Our Bella is my baby and I can totally understand how you can think of your dog like your child.Bella is the light of my life so I can understand how traumatic this must be for you.
