Peace For Paris

I was planning on posting something so much different today, but after the horrific events that unfolded in Paris, well…
While I was watching the coverage on CNN, I stumbled across a couple of things online that I think speak to the resilience of the people of Paris. First, there’s their motto:
Elle est agitee par les vagues, et ne sombre pas.
English translation ~ “She is tossed by waves but does not sink.”
The second is this iconic quote from Les Miserables, by Victor Hugo:
Even the darkest night will end and the sun will rise.
New York City’s One World Trade Center’s 408-ft spire lit up in the colors of the French flag.
Vive la France!
