As many of you may have heard, Mr. Trump, who apparently was not pleased with more recent developments in the investigation into his administration’s ties to Russia, had a Twitter tantrum early Saturday morning that reportedly caught even his handlers by surprise. While he’s known for making wild and false accusations, this time he’s leveled his libelous vitriol at our previous president, Barack Obama, accusing him of illegally wire tapping Trump Tower. I’m not going to bother going over the paranoid delusional insanity of this accusation, but something in an article written by Mile Allen of Axios, really struck me. He spoke to an unnamed White House official who had this to say regarding this:
The president just has a great nose for these things. It’s the bureaucratic leaks–the deep state–that bother him the most. Even if it turns out not to be true that they surveilled Trump Tower, he will have a very good point to make about the level of sabotage coming from Obama holdovers.
Even. If. It. Turns. Out. Not. To. Be. True. Um…All righty then. So while this probably shouldn’t come as a great shock to anyone, apparently we can all look forward to Mr. Trump and his minions to continue pulling “alternative facts” out of thin air as long as they keep furthering their agenda. Please excuse me. I need to go take an aspirin now.

The idiocy of all of this is just confounding. And what’s worse is that a lot of people STILL think there’s nothing wrong with this guy. He’s like America’s big stupid, drunk uncle. Not presidential, or even professional, in the slightest. It’s humiliating.

Agreed Gronda. The New Yorker had an article yesterday which posited that this time what he’s done might very well backfire on him. By calling on the intelligence committee to investigate his claims, he’s actually calling even more attention to the investigation into his cronies contacts with Russia. God I’d love to see this blow up in his smug, arrogant, orange face!

For myself, I have no problem believing that Trump had his phone tapped. I don’t doubt that every presidential candidate of any party has had their phone tapped since the technology has existed to enable it to be done. When Hoover was head of the FBI, he loved phone taps, and his successors have kept his dream going, I’m sure. Nothing new here, except Twitter.

It’s illegal for a president to tap anyone’s phone Pete. And judging by the response of FBI director James Comey, they didn’t wiretap him either. Which leaves the Justice Department. If they did it it would have been done legally through FISA. Either way, President Obama wouldn’t have had anything to do with this and what Trump came out with is libel, pure and simple. Sorry for the rant. I’m a little ticked off by what he did. I’m just hoping it blows up in his face!

Cold War 2? There’s always something fishy going on in the new administration and everything they have to say in public ALWAYS seems to stir some sort of controversy. Feels like we’re going to get used to these kinds of things too quick and too easily, making things in the future much more grave than we’d like. 😦

It’s interesting to see the blind idol worshiping of Donald Trump by his supporters who truly have any intelligent response other than bashing Hillary Clinton or the previous president. Sadly, the present administration and their inherent ignorance of government and how it works is leading to one failure after another and an effectiveness ratio of “0”

I watched this documentary on CBSN on the folks who live in Eerie, PA who voted for him and I have a bit more appreciation of how people who aren’t racist, etc. could have voted for him. There’s a big segment of our citizens who have been let down by both parties and I think they were just desperate. Sadly, they’re also going to be one of the groups let down the most by the Trump administration.😕
