I’m never a person who likes anything I’ve ever done. It’s just the way it is. Twenty years later, I can look at something I did, and I’m still thinking, ‘You know, that could have been done better if you had done it this way or that way.

I mainly remember his as Benson, and it had not occurred to me that he would be that old now. All those old faces gently slipping away…
Best wishes, Pete.

Yeah, I remember watching old episodes after school.

Had to look him up, as he seemed very familiar. Benson is a series that hasn’t aired here, but I guess I know him from Big Fish. Always sad to see an actor slip away 😢

He was an incredible singer and actor.😢

I hadn’t realized he was that old either. He had a long life, but it’s still sad when someone passes. I watched Benson back in the day. He was a good actor-and he sang also. He was talented.

It’s funny, he started out singing and was even nominated for a Tony, but he’s more well known as an actor.mI loved Benson.

Such sad news. I used to enjoy watching Benson, and I loved him as the voice of Rafiki. I’ll miss him 😦
