I’m taking the next few days off, but I wanted to wish everyone here in the U.S. a wonderful and joyous Thanksgiving.
I hope you all have a perfect day with your family and friends.
Eat tons of turkey, but make sure you leave plenty of room for pie!

Thank you! I’m a big Dean Koontz fan so I did read Night Chills years ago and loved it! I actually just finished his latest book, The Whispering Room last night and am planning on posting a review early next week.😊

Yyeessss! Do it! After a number of less-than-stellar Dean Koontz books that had rushed or disappointing endings, I think he is now at the top of his game again. I started reading some of his The Silent Corner and it reads very good. Now, his The Whispering Room continues the story. On another note, writer Robert Bloch is the master of the “twist”, where you get to the last paragraph and suddenly it’s “Ohhhh my GAWWD!” I think he might have been the creator/writer of the original “Psycho” movie. He has a book of short-stories called either “Screams” or, Such Stuff as Screams Are Made Of:. Good stories.

After he and his wife lost their first Golden, Trixie, there seemed to be something missing from his writing. They got very mystical and abstract, and featured lots of dogs (which is always a plus), but the spark wasn’t there. With the Silent Corner and The Whispering Room he’s definitely regained his mojo!😁
I’ve been a fan of Robert Bloch since I first read Psycho. I read Such Stuff as Screams Are Made Of back in high school and I really enjoyed it.😊
