When French figure skaters Vanessa James and Morgan Cipres teamed up to vie for first place in the International Skating Union’s World Team Trophy 2017 competition in Japan, they blew away the competition and left fans marveling at their routine.
The duo have developed a bond on the ice that allows Vanessa to completely trust Morgan when he is flipping and spinning her around. The two are able to incorporate amazing partner work in their routines because of this.
For the competition in Japan, they skated to Disturbed’s rendition of Simon & Garfunkel’s classic hit “The Sound of Silence.” Their synchronized skating and perfectly performed stunts matched magically to the music.
