One day after the McCain family announced he would no longer be receiving treatment for the brain cancer he had been battling for the past year, “Maverick” John McCain has passed away. While I didn’t agree with the majority of his political stances, I never doubted his patriotism and love for this country. And for that, this tireless public servant, and decorated war hero has my respect. May his family take comfort in the condolences and tributes pouring in from all sides of the political spectrum.
