Tomorrow is the day to make your voice heard and vote in the midterms. This election, with so many close races, is just as important if not more so, than any presidential election.
While there’s plenty to be discouraged about politics and the toxicity that’s taken over our country, it’s more important than ever to exercise our right to vote. So, if you haven’t already cast your ballot in early voting, please get out there tomorrow. Every voice counts!
Good luck with those elections, Kim! 🙂
Best wishes, Pete.

Thanks Pete. The next 36-48 hours are going to be nerve wracking.

I was sipping hot coco while writing my mail in ballot, They say we have a record turnout but I still don’t understand why it’s still only 55% of the population that has participated even with mail in ballots it should be at at least 85%

You would think after the last election Joseph, that people would wake up and see how important every vote is, no matter who they’re voting for.

For me, the 2016 Presidential Election shows just how much of an impact a vote can have…virtually EVERY SINGLE third-party vote would have been cast for a Democrat – those candidates syphoned off votes in crucial states that swung them to Donald Trump – and we have seen what the result of that has been. Regardless of your political affiliation, voting matters, and if you don’t like the way things are, you have the power to change it…we will see!

Well said John! There are several races that are too close to call so every single vote is vital.

Agree, I will be glued to the set to see the results…and while I am a lifelong Democrat, I applaud everyone for making their voice heard, whether I agree with it or not!

Me too. Seems as though Indiana didn’t go as I’d hoped. 😒

I know Donnelly was seen as vulnerable, but I was keeping my fingers crossed.😞 This is turning into quite the nail biter. I can’t believe that Beto O’ Rourke is leading Ted Cruz in Texas!

It was definitely bracing for a little while.

I hope you are well Kim, and I hope your pneumonia is passed! This election is most definitely important, I know that I’ll be casting my vote first thing! Please stay healthy throughout the process, my friend. Maybe have a tall glass of wine, and do something great for yourself like a massage or something amidst the stress of the day 😉 You deserve it, and your (pre and post migraine) head with thank you!

Thank you so much for your kind words Didi. I’m feeling much better, but I’m having a hard time getting my bounce back. I’ve already mailed in my ballot, which I’m especially glad of because it’s going to be a rainy Election Day here in Maine. I’m staying in and being a couch potato all day.
