I’m so excited! The science fiction/fantasy Artemis Fowl series is comprised of eight books which were written by Irish author Eoin Colfer between 2001-2012. There are also graphic novel adaptations. Artemis is a brilliant teenage criminal mastermind who reluctantly becomes a hero over the course of the series. I’ve been hoping that this would be developed into a series since I finished the last book. Disney picked it up in 2016 and now there’s finally a release date for August 9th, 2019.
As you can guess I’m a little excited! This teaser trailer doesn’t quite capture the epicness of this series, but it’s pretty gosh darn close!
