I know there’s going to be lots of grabbing for the tissues moments in this Fraggle, so I thought I’d preface things with something lighter.

I will wait for it to come out on blurry, I have yet to do Antman & Wasp and Capn Marvel, so everything is in. place for the endgame. Also I don’t want it to end so am delaying it. Gawd knows how I’m going to avoid spoilers!! Will have to go off line for a couple of months! 😀 😀

I’ve seen Antman and the Wasp (loved it), but I haven’t seen Captain Marvel yet. I was going to wait a bit to go see Endgame, but now I’m not sure if I can now.

So it’s the end? I hope so, but I doubt it! 🙂 🙂

It’s the end Pete. Sigh. There’ll be characters who will continue to have their own movie franchises (Spider-Man, Black Panther, Dr. Strange, etc.), but this is the last movie to feature the Avengers as a team. I know you’re not a fan, but if you were to ever consider trying a Marvel movie, I can’t recommend Black Panther highly enough. The story and acting are phenomenal and it’s visually stunning.

I hesitate to answer that one, Kim. But here goes… ‘Wolverine’ was enough, for one lifetime. 🙂 🙂
Best wishes, Pete.

You’ll be shocked to hear this Pete, but while I love Hugh Jackman and the Wolverine character as part of the X-Men, I wasn’t a fan of the Wolverine movies.

Stan’s cameo in Endgame is probably his briefest in the MCU, but among the best of them; it’s how we remember The Man – real classy! 🙂

It is indeed worse to stay away from spoilers for this than for Game of Thrones!

YMMV, but this movie was every thing I wanted it to be. Perfect? Possibly not. I know fans are already nit picking, theorizing, and overanalyzing it, but I think many of them are incapable of just enjoying something for what it is. I’ve been a comic book/superhero fan for as long as I can remember. One of my first comics was an issue of Captain America. I am notoriously picky about film adaptations of books/comics that I love & I won’t say the MCU has made all the choices I would have, but overall they’ve captured the spirit of these characters in ways I didn’t think possible. RDJ’s Iron Man is already iconic, but Chris Evans embodied Captain America in a way I couldn’t have imagined before. I’ve watched every MCU movie over the past 10 years, most of them with my son (he was 8 when Iron Man premiered) and we both were in awe, laughed, cried, and cheered during this movie together. I look forward to the future of the MCU, but this was a fine ending to this era.

I think people tend to over analyze things whether in film, tv, or books. I was an avid fan of comics when I was a child and I agree with you about the film adaptations, especially the casting. For me, 99.9% of film adaptations will never live up completely to a book/comic, but these come pretty darn close.
