Hmm. What about “alternative facts”?🤔

It’s all the news really in my opinion.
I have no particular worldview or political bent!
Facts be damned!
I rarely watch TV NEWS!
Rely on local news worldwide. Take it all in with a grain of salt.

I’m a big believer in taking things with a grain of salt. I always do my research. Must be the librarian still in me.😏

Let me match your quote with this:
That’s not the way the world really works any more. We’re an empire now, and when we act, we create our own reality. And while you’re studying that reality—judiciously, as you will—we’ll act again, creating other new realities, which you can study too, and that’s how things will sort out. We’re history’s actors . . . and you, all of you, will be left to just study what we do.

I don’t remember this, but it’s definitely in keeping with the Dubya administration.
And then there’s this: 1984-“The Party told you to reject the evidence of your eyes and ears. It was their final, most essential command.” 7/24/18-Trump addressing the Veterans of Foreign Wars regarding his tariffs on our trading partners.-“What you’re seeing and what you’re reading is not what’s happening.” #LifeImitatesArtImitatesLife

There is so many things in 1984 that are reflective of the Trump presidency Cindy. It’s uncanny.

Wow now that’s what I call a relevant quotation!!! Feel for us Kim we now have our very own ‘crazy’ Trump lookalike for Prime Minister 😦 . Johnson’s constant stream of lies is quite staggering, yet he has a working class right wing following that will forever forgive his racist excesses and ridiculous visions………. I honestly fear he will destroy Britain from within.

I’ve been following the exploits of Johnson and I’m so sorry for what you’re going through.
