Every time something bad happens to me, I don’t ask the question, ‘Why did it happen to me?’ The question I ask is, ‘Why did it happen for me?’

He was obviously very tolerant, and well-balanced too.
Best wishes, Pete.

Wise words from a great public servant.

We need more, not less people like him in Washington.

There are not many things we can control, our attitude might be one of the top ones on that list. Well said.

I tend to indulge in self-pity parties every now and then, and the next time I start I’m going to try to think of him.

It’s a shame that such a nice person died. I hope his soul rests in peace. Those words are beautiful Kim. Great post.

If there were more like him in Washington I don’t believe Trump would have been elected because more people would have had trust in the government. Many people voted for him because they liked that he was an outsider and believed him when he said he was going to “drain the swamp.” Instead, his administration is adding to it and would most likely go down in history as one of the most corrupt.

Well, that is sad but nothing can happen until he is thrown off. I really wish he was alive. He is the most corrupt politician in the history of corrupts. He should be thrown off power. 😤✌
