Jon Bon Jovi honors veterans with his new song Unbroken, which is also the single for Josh Aronson’s, To Be of Service, which looks at the lives of veterans living with PTSD and the service animals who aid them in healing. For the next twelve months, all proceeds from the downloads will go to The Patriotic Service Dog Foundation—an organization that matches trained service dogs with veterans at no cost. Awesome video – I shared it on FB, OK? Our veteran community got together, found the resources to build a house for a returning vet with PTSD and his family. I also have been in tears thinking about our brotherhood.

What a great thing he is doing……sad he can’t sing anymore. He is my homeboy and I’ve always loved him!😢

I read a few years back that he used to us steroids to overcome the straining of his vocal cords during some of their concert tours. Naturally, we now know that’s one of the worst things a singer can do. Regardless, this song still moved me to tears.

Yeah all of the ones that screamed cant sing anymore….Joe Elliott from Def Leppard just breaks my heart now. 😢

And even some who don’t. Because of surgery to remove non-cancerous nodules on her vocal chords, Julie Andrews hasn’t been able to sing since 1997.😔
