Grumpy Cat and the Dowager so need to team up. Maybe they can go Black Friday shopping together (we are either ignoring the time gap between them or we’re assuming time travel). 😉 I can just see them sitting in the food court at the mall, being sassy about everyone they see.

I “did” Black Friday ONE time. Twenty years ago for my dad. There was a television he wanted on sale. I walked in, grabbed a salesperson, paid for the TV, had it loaded in my van and left. Took all of 18 minutes. Never went again and haven’t wanted to. That’s just too much crazy running around loose.
I have to confess though i am enjoying the online deals. Clicking away in the QUIET of my own home. 😄😄

It’s such a scam. They did a thing over here where a reporter took note of the prices of things in the Black Friday sales and found that a couple of weeks later those same things were cheaper. 🙄

I think most of these big “sales” are, although I’ve had some luck on Cyber Monday.

I just saw a friend’s recommendation that we buy nothing on Black Friday and save 100% in every store.

I went into Walmart last night for a few things but did some online shopping, as well. I might also get some things on Cyber Monday.

Very good Kim.. loved it.. we have the same in the UK and Ireland and it is madness.. we did some Black Friday shopping for a computer monitor, on Tuesday at Black Friday prices..which is going on for another week…soon it will be Black November in its entirety…

Love this! I had no choice but to leave the house to go to work, but I normally do not venture out of doors on BF. The streets were empty when I went out around 9AM, so I guess everyone was already in their respective parking lots by the time I made my snails pace to the out of doors.

I try to have nothing to do with it. Took Ollie out, went to buy some bread, (not discounted!) and now it is almost 6:30 pm and it’s all over!

It was the BEST Pete! My pie was a success (phew!) and out of the 20 people who attended, there was only one person who was an ultra conservative/religious person, and even he was actually pretty nice. I mean his views horrified me, but he was respectful and didn’t call me evil or try to convert me when I told him I was pro gay marriage and pro-choice. And he doesn’t like Trump either so we have that in common!

It’s only 2:15 here so we still have several hours left. There’s a Loews about a mile from us and there are sales still going on tomorrow, so we might take a stroll and get our Christmas wreath for our door tomorrow.
