As of 8:34 this morning I will be 55 years old…Sigh.
I’m determined to do my best to keep my sense of humor and age gracefully (if that’s possible), instead of getting depressed and cranky. I have to admit though I can definitely relate to these:

Congratulations! I’m glad to see someone still enjoying books and blogging at 55! I’m always worried that as I get older I’ll get “too old” for things so it makes me really happy to see your blog and know that I can keep doing this too!

I haven’t been able to read instructions on my cream or washing-up liquid, bleach etc. for some time. Why do they use such small print which keeps getting smaller and smaller with every year?😁

Happy, happy, and blessed birthday to you!! 55 is not old. I’m looking at becoming 69 and was recently told that I act as if I’m in my 30’s. If not for gravity, I might look that young too! LOL!

can relate to pics and i’m only 42 😂😂 (almost, this year)… happy birthday!
btw, a couple days ago I was in the cafe, and sat near the group (family) with a very old man as the head of the group. It was his birthday. He told me he is 90… and he told me that he started play golf in 76 and he is still kicking and planning to try as many things as possible 😂 Damn, it feels like everything is still ahead of us! 55 is new 15?

55………..wow that was over ten years ago for me. I remember the angst of turning that age….and then realized my life was better than it had ever been before and age is simply a stupid number. Hang in there Kim. It gets better and better.
