Yes. Yes he is Fraggle. His deranged tweet “…when the looting starts, the shooting starts.” is a prime example of this. He doesn’t understand what is happening and why, and frankly doesn’t care. He himself is racist .

Just hoping he doesn’t get a second term in office, that would really be the worst.

MLK would have been an inspiring president, I have no doubt.
Best wishes, Pete.

I often wonder how history would have changed if he hadn’t been assassinated.

Unfortunately, the people who were violent and rioters were not the ones that started the protests. They use it as an excuse to do what they want. I feel for the people who wanted to be heard and will be painted with the same brush as those who just wanted an excuse to loot and burn. MLK was a man that could have changed things for so many, which of course, is why he was killed.

There’s a lot of understandable pent up anger, but you’re right Carla. These protests began peacefully.

Time to listen to the voices of those who experience life in America differently than others – and the danger that comes with that

Thanks so much for this…I re-blogged it. We are all Americans, but some have a different daily experience in this country than others, and until we acknowledge it every single day, and continue to keep an open dialogue about how to improve life in this country for all of us, things will never get better.

It’s depressing and heartbreaking that those words said 53 years ago are still so relevant today.

It amazes me as well how many Conservatives will quote him, or have a quote of his in their bios. Yet, they don’t know what he stood for. He would never stand with the Conservative Trump Supporters of today. It’s funny in a way, because they’re the type of people he knew that weren’t listening.
