Thanks for always bringing a little joy to use during these times. I know you and I are likely in the same boat: the pandemic won’t end for us anytime soon, and people with disabilities and immuno-suppression are going to get left behind, quarantining long past what anyone else does. It’s a marathon, and the little videos you share are a bright spot, and a guaranteed giggle.

I’m so happy these help Jay. And yes, our state in Alabama is one of the ones where cases just keep increasing, so it’s pretty scary. You and Sean stay safe!🤗

Thanks Fraggle. I’m afraid Pete didn’t think so.😕

Aw don’t worry you can’t please all of the people all of the time, and really I get his point, if people are thinking ‘bacteria’ it is the wrong way to go about things, but at this point in time, it’s way too late to educate the numpties!

I understand what his point is too. But you’re right. If people don’t get the difference between bacteria and viruses at this point, it’s rather hopeless.😕

It is clever, but also annoying for me. I have spent over three months trying to convince everyone I know that antibacaterial sprays will NOT help against the virus. A virus is not a baterium, and cannot be killed by antibac cleaners. I hope that anyone watching this just gets the joke, and doesn’t become confused by the ‘message’.
Best wishes, Pete.

I didn’t mean to spread misinformation Pete. I was mainly looking at the hand sanitizers, social distancing, and mask wearing in the video. I didn’t see any recognizable labels on the sprays she was using, but I know over here brands like Lysol and 409 claim to kill 99.9% of viruses. I personally use Lysol disenfectant because the EPA has recommended it.

I don’t mean to sound grumpy, honestly. But they are singing ‘in a bacterial world’. Even my own step-daughters don’t believe me, and spend a small fortune on antibacterial sprays. 🙂 Disinfectant does work, but it is not ‘antibacterial’ as such. Just my personal campaign! 🙂

I understand Pete. I think it was just a clever play on “Material Girl,” as “virus world” wouldn’t have had quite the same ring. I use Lysol for wiping down door handles and things coming into the house, and we have hand sanitizer that contains 70% alcohol, but we mainly practice proper hand washing with soap and hot water, wearing masks in indoor settings and social distancing.

You are much more careful than I am. Well done with that. 🙂
