Are you hating the new WP Block Editor? Check this post out by Pete.

However.
You will also be aware that a significant percentage of your loyal bloggers absolutelyHATEthis new Block Editor. It is not intuitive, and we can see no good reason for it having to be forced on us.

I’m still using the old editor, but I have to say that I got a very helpful video from fraggle about the new blog editor. Have to admit that made it all very clear! 😊

I think we should contact the help desk for each and every question that we have. They’ll get overwhelmed by requests and might do something.

Totally agree. I hate the block editor. Always choose classic editor for my posts!

The only way I can use classic now is through the block editor, and now it’s all glitchy.😔

I have no clue what this Block Editor is. I posted just yesterday, and there wasn’t anything that changed. ??

I’m not sure what to tell you. You’re the first one I’ve heard that didn’t know anything about this. WP started telling people months ago that they were upgrading. Once the new Block Editor was in place you could still use classic. Now they’re sending emails out saying you need to use the new upgrade. Technically you can still get to classic, but it’s not the same and the whole thing is very glitchy.

I’ve been seeing that notification for a few months now….. been ignoring it though. I didn’t know WP has officially changed , starting when ? I posted yesterday, but nothing had changed.

I don’t know the exact time frame, but if officially changed at least a couple of months ago. I have no idea why yours hasn’t changed yet, but at some point it will.

I must have missed an email about this. I have not seen or nor have had to use this block editor.

That’s odd Christina. You’re only the second person who’s said this. This is definitely WP’s new upgrade though.

I did see today at the top of my dashboard and when i went to add new post: “There’s an easier way to create posts on WordPress.com. Switch to the new block editor. Learn more.” The last two sentences being links. Looks vaguely familiar but I never clicked it because why bother when the current tools were just fine and I knew how to use them.

At some point that choice will be taken away. That’s what happened to me last week.
