Happy Teddy Bear Day everyone! When I think of teddy bears, the first thing I think of after Teddy Roosevelt, is The Teddy Bears Picnic, by Jimmy Kennedy. I don’t know about you, but as much as I love the idea of teddies having a picnic in the woods, the lyrics of the song frightened me a little as a child.
I know I’m not the only one who finds this a tad menacing, especially the first four lines. With that in mind—and because I’m a deeply twisted person—I’d like to share a horror take from Crypt TV on this children’s classic. If murderous bears aren’t your cup of tea, the second video is more traditional and sung by Anne Murray.

I had no idea there was a National Teddy Bear day 🐻 I love Teddy bears, ever since I was little, and still have a thing for plushies that I have a hard time not giving in to. I did have to get the Doctor Who Build A Bear, though 😁 Funny coincidence, I’m working on listing Beanie Babies on eBay for my part-time job (and trying to resist taking some of them with me 😁).

You just ruined my childhood favourite song. 🥺🥺🥺 I and my best friend Samantha used to sing this song together 😍😍oh what days those were. Now whenever I will see that song, I will remember a boys tongue being pulled out😭😭😭. But… I never thought about this song in this way so it was kind of nice to see a scary version of it and yes…teddy bears and gruesome murders don’t go along too well… (staring at the teddy bears in my room🙄🙄🥺🥺).
