I love Stephen King. I know not everyone does, but I just do. He has certainly written a couple of my favorite novels, and it never fails to impress me how big his imagination was, and still is😊
Lol…that last one is too funny by the way😂😂

I have read many Stephen King books, but not nearly as many as he has written. I love this birthday tribute and those sayings are priceless. I love the one about the retail store.

Oh, you have to get in on it!!! I know it seems really, really, daunting, but its worth the effort.
I was reluctant to get started on them at first, but I started with the first book, and by the time I got to book three I was hooked!

As much as I love him, I’ve been putting the series off because I’m not a fan of western themes, but I know they’re much more than that.

Well, technically it’s not really a Western, even though there’s guns involved. The first book is the most western of all of them and I never read that book first. I started somewhere in the middle and backtracked. You love happy to know that most of the books take place in the modern world, or various alternate Earths, even if some of the environments are a bit…dusty!

Great selection, Kim. I love Stephen King but have only made a small dent in his collection of works.

It’s quite the massive collection Jeanne. I don’t know if you’ve already read them, but some of my favs are: Carrie, The Stand, Salem’s Lot, The Shining, Dr. Sleep, Misery, It, The Institute, The Outsider, and 11/22/63. And although I wasn’t originally taken with Mr. Mercedes, I wound up loving the Bill Hodges trilogy.

I’ve read The Stand and Salem’s Lot. I have The Institute but haven’t gotten to it yet. Some of my favorites are The Dark Half, Eye of the Dragon, and The Talisman.

I keep recommending 11/22/63 to those (especially history buffs) who don’t like horror.

Love these, Kim! Happy Birthday to Mr. King.
I don’t like everything he releases but plenty of his books have kept me entertained and reading through the years. Erm, not to mention sometimes sleeping with the lights on!

It’s been on my list for a long time. I’ve read a ton of nonfiction about RFK (and by default JFK), so that one really appeals to me. Thanks for the reminder about it.

You King fans are very devoted. But he does seem like a nice guy, and sensible too.
Best wishes, Pete.
