Well, my fellow Supernatural enthusiasts. Tonight will bring the moment we’ve been both eagerly anticipating and dreading. After an hourlong retrospective, the final episode which is aptly titled “Carry On,” will air, leaving us to bid adieu to the Winchester boys, and their stalwart Baby. Oh my goodness. I’m getting somewhat misty-eyed already. I’m completely clueless as to how the longest running tv series will end, but after everything Sam and Dean have been through over the last 15 years, I’m keeping my fingers crossed that it’s at least partially a happy one. Last week’s penultimate episode finished with this montage from all 15 seasons.
And here’s the trailer for tonight’s Carry On.
And here are Entertainment Weekly’s Supernatural covers over the years.
And finally, the classic Carry On Wayward Son, by Kansas, which found new life through this beloved series.
Please excuse me now. I have to make a Target run for Kleenex.
Haha…might have to get more than one box Kim😊 I hope the series is going to end on a high note for you😊 As you know, I’m way behind with this series, so before I reach this point, I luckily have a lot more episodes to see. But I know how hard it is losing a favorite show. The Walking Dead is also ending so that will see me running towards the shop getting a bunch of Kleenex too😊

I’m still ticked over how the X-Files ended, so I’m hoping Supernatural bows out brilliantly. I stopped watching TWD several seasons ago but I’m hoping to catch up on Netflix at some point.

I don’t want to see it go 😥😥 I know they said the ending would do the show justice and all, and I hope they’re right. Last week’s show seemed like it could have worked as a finale, so I wonder what they have in store for tonight.

I feel your pain Jeanne! Yeah, last week almost seemed like the finale, so I have no idea what tonight will bring.

The only series I’ve felt this strongly about was the X-Files, and that had started going downhill in the last couple of seasons so it was almost a relief when it took its final bow. Supernatural is tough, because it’s been on the air so long and I feel so connected to the characters. Sigh. Well, I’ve got my Kleenex.

Thye filmed an episode in the office I worked in, in Ladner, BC a few years ago. It was exciting.

No way! Did you get to see or meet anyone?

Unfortunately, we weren’t allowed in the office on the day of filming. 😒

I still haven’t watched it, but I hope you get the ending you want. 🙂
Best wishes, Pete.

Thanks Pete. I think I’d be crushed if it was another X-Files debacle.

This is a series that I have never watched and probably won’t now (15 seasons is a bit too much to catch up on). I hope it ends in a wonderful way for you.

I absolutely love this series. I’ve watched 14 seasons of it. I haven’t started season 15 yet because all of the episodes aren’t available on Netflix yet. I really hate to see this show ending. It’s one of my faves. I wish they would just continue on forever lol.

Season 14 & 15 have turned out to be two of their best in my opinion so at least their ending on a high note.

I know the finale of season 14 was one of the best finales I’ve ever seen. I’m excited to watch season 15 but at the same time not so excited because it will be the end.

I am embarrassed to say I don’t know this series. So, how did it end? On a happy note?

Well, it was bittersweet, but in the end it lived up to the lyrics:
“Carry on my wayward son
There’ll be peace when you are done
Lay your weary head to rest
Don’t you cry no more.”
