Currently, many of us here in the northeastern region of the United States are in the process of digging out from a major snowstorm. I hope that all of my readers who were hit by the storm are warm and safe.
Everyone in my family is continuing to avoid the coronavirus, but it is getting more and more nervy as zip codes around us are seeing concerning rises in positivity rates. To add insult to injury (in terms of being on edge with COVID) is the fact that my parents in particular have seen a few places in our neighborhood where people are not wearing their masks and practicing social distancing as they should. They just announced that Southern CA has no more ICU beds at all. Stay home. Stay safe.

I heard that. I live in AL and hospitals are filling fast and some patients are being sent out of state. My husband and I are isolating as much as we can, and of course wearing masks.

Same here. I had doc appts today so I also did groceries in between. Hopefully, I am in again for three weeks. Masks, gloves, no company, isolation for three days for anything not refrigerated, lots of disinfectant wipes, clothes thrown in the washer upon return and a long hot shower. Can’t be too safe.

I can understand why he is nervous. The ‘third wave’ is developing fast ahead of the vaccination programme. That will come too late for so many people.
