Interesting to see the comments from some of them, and the fact that well over half of them could easily be identified too. And when it came to it, they couldn’t even start a fire to burn the TV crew’s equipment.

They didn’t think they were doing anything wrong Pete. As one of them said, they were following Trump’s orders. Even after the inauguration, this isn’t over. It is indeed very worrisome.

I think you’re right Susan. IMHO, Trump unleashed a lot of hatred, bitterness, and mistrust that’s been simmering for a long time. There are actually more and more of his supporters who are even calling him a traitor.

Kim they are calling him a traitor because he told them to stand down! They, not me, are out for blood and the boogaloo boys told him, we don’t listen to you anymore, get out of the way. That is very scary. We loved Trump because he fought for us, not the elite who just wanted to tell us what to do. They never heard us. Sadly, it won’t be like when Obama was in office, where we just ignored the other side. They want a civil war. I truly think this country is too far divided to ever go back….I’m very worried. Now the Republican party is going to implode and they deserve it. I’m now an independent, well as soon as NC SBE acknowledges it!💞

Susan, I understand why so many people voted for him despite them not being racist, homophobic, etc. The Democrats are partially to blame for this as well, because of decades of not listening to their constituents and taking them for granted.
Trump is and always has been the ultimate con man. He aligned himself with the Republican Party because he knew he could go farther with them. He will throw anyone under the bus to save himself: employees, friends, family, and supporters alike. Whatever he is: narcissist, psychopath, sociopath—he’s utterly devoid of a conscience.
A consummate liar, The Big Lie about the election being rigged, is his most heinous, and I very much fear you’re right in that the country not being able to come back from this. I hope and pray we’re both wrong.
BTW, I’m glad you’re going to be independent/unaffiliated. That how I’ve been registered since I turned 18.

Seriously! Since this travesty I’ve been using my Facebook account to post a few verses every day to remind the people in my congregation who we are supposed to be as Christians (peaceable, gentle, respectful, not partnering with violent people, etc.)…trying to inject a little sanity into their filth-filled Facebook feeds.

I could hardly watch this. I am so scared for all my friends in the US. This is not over. How many people are going to die because of this?
