Sadly, this hero who inspired not only the UK, but the world, passed away today from coronavirus.
My father would show me how to bang the nails into the wood. And if you hit your thumb, that was your own fault and you learned not to do it again. And when I finished with those, my father would bring me a bigger piece of wood and a bigger hammer. All my life I’ve learned to get on with it. And if you hit your thumb or your finger, don’t blame anyone else. You did it yourself.
