I donate to three charities from my online shopping, including one nominated on Amazon. I as lucky to be on the receiving end of two acts of kindness over the last few days, so know how much that can boost a person.
Best wishes, Pete.

Yes. I do the Amazon Smile charity program as well. And I gave the person ahead of me at the grocery store yesterday $10 when they ran short. If everyone would just try to treat people the way they themselves would like to be treated, I think the world would be a better place.

That was good of you to hand over the $10, Kim. I once offered to pay for the shopping of a young woman with a baby who had come out without her card purse, and said she could drop the money in when she had time. (It was quite a bit of money, almost £90) She burst into tears at the kindness of the offer, but refused it nonetheless. She put her trolley to one side, and told the checkout lady she would return later to pay for it. 🙂

Someone did it once when we first moved here, and I’ve never forgotten it. And that was very kind of you Pete.

I usually do a few things every year, but am pretty much housebound with the pandemic and the snow we had. I will have to donate online this year instead.

If you buy from Amazon, they have a program where you pick a charity and a certain percentage of any purchase goes to them.

I will do that, I do buy from them quite a bit.

This is a great list, Kim. I have worked so long and hard today, I haven’t had much time for such things. I did test my oldest son on his science which I hate doing. Death by science is how I view that particular task.

I would definitely count that as a kindness Robbie!

I do the Amazon charity thing, I give our office manager a lift home even though it’s in the opposite direction to me though that’s not random it”s every Monday and Tuesday 🤣 and I do the post office run for her too! Don’t really see anyone else to be kind to except Phil and I’m always kind to him. 😀 😀

It’s the easiest thing to do and the most personally satisfying, a random act of kindness. Just a simple greeting brings a smile from the receiver.
