For the last six weeks my daily exercise routine has consisted of 2-3 mile walks followed by an hour long swim. And despite the ongoing pain it’s been worth it because I’ve lost 15 lbs. But this week my willpower will face it’s biggest challenge yet with the arrival of Loki on Disney Plus on Wednesday, and In the Heights on HBO Max on Thursday. Check out the latest trailers and you’ll see what I mean.
Never fear I shall persevere! I’m determined I won’t even look in the direction of the tv until I’ve completed my workout routines for the day. And just in case I’ve got a couple of backup plans:

I walk about 6-7 miles a day with Ollie. But since lockdown, I have put on weight. It’s no mystery. Cakes, Buns, and Wine. Nobody to blame but me!

You lost 15 pounds Kim! Wow! I’m trying to knock off a few pandemic pounds without cutting back on my food intake or exercising! It’s going as expected. But now I have a new distraction! Loki! C

Thanks Fraggle. I’m trying to do this slowly so I can stop with the yo-yo dieting. I’ve been finding if I keep up with the exercise, I can cheat more with the diet. I can’t wait for Loki!

I have seen “In The Heights”. It’s incredibly inventive and upbeat, with terrific songs and beautiful choreography….you will be up late that night celebrating the magic of cinema!

My wife had a few of the stars of the film on her show…they will be airing throughout the week, and we were allowed a one-time-only link to see it…it’s the best film of the year~

I’m all fangirl about Loki. I can’t wait for the show but will probably hold off subcribing to Disney+ until a couple of episodes are up.
Good for you on the weight loss, too. It’s taken me a year to lose 30 pounds (I did it slowly), but I surpassed my goal by 10 pounds. I do my workout based on time, rather than miles—jogging 30 minutes five days a week. I still keep it up and am feeling better than I have in a decade. No wall I need is Lokie 😉

I have a prime motivator for exercise….MoMo demands her walk and she does not take no for an answer….I hope Loki is better than WW-1984…..chuq

When we still had Lacey she kept me honest about exercise as well chuq. Loki is getting great early reviews, so I’m starting to relax.

Congratulations on the weight loss Kim. Slow and steady is the way to go. I like the movie workout. I need to do that while I am watching the hockey games. I was waiting to watch Loki once there were a few episodes in so I can binge a bit. I think three is a good place so start, so…. tomorrow when I get home from golf.
