Or in my case: August rains, summer never came, fall is a damp squib, winter is coming. 🤣

We’ve had a lot of rain here as well this month. Fortunately it usually holds off until the late afternoon.

I look forward to someone or some government being proactive and finding a way to move water from where it falls to places where its needed….”water is the new oil”!

It is still summer hete. Sunny and 80s today. I do understand that time as summer wanes.

I suppose this is a better way to look at fall since usually I just think of it as the warm weather dying off only to bring in that icky white stuff all too soon….

Living in AL now, I do not miss MA winters!

What Fraggle said. With knobs on! 😦
Sylvia committed suicide. I’m guessing she got fed up of all that rain.
Best wishes, Pete.

I love Sylvia Plath, a tortured soul for sure, wish she could have stayed and shared more of her brilliance. C
