Have you guys been on Google today? Well if you haven’t and you’re looking for something both relaxing and educational, you’ve got to check out their Doodle. It’s a cute little honeybee game where you pollinate flowers and learn all sorts of buzzy facts.
I started playing about an hour ago an just managed to tear myself away as I have to start supper. It’s positively addictive!🐝

inToday’s Google Doodle honors acclaimed yet tortured writer Sylvia Plath, who if she had lived, would have turned 87 years-old today. Plath battled severe depression before tragically taking her own life in 1963. The stunning artwork by Sophie Diao is a reference to Plath’s 1956 poem Spinster.

inWith everything going on in Washington regarding the looming government shutdown, the resignation of General Mattis, and Mr. Trump becoming increasingly unhinged (check out his Green Acres tweet from yesterday), I was going to write a post about the train wreck unfolding, but I realized that I just didn’t have it in me. (Plus I started hyperventilating!) So, I’m going to wish all of you a Happy Winter Solstice instead and share this lovely quote:
Winter is the time for comfort, for good food and warmth, for the touch of a friendly hand and a talk beside the fire: it is the time for home.

I just had to find a special quote of his, and after looking long and hard, this particular one stood out to me. I hope you all like it.
It is not true that people stop pursuing dreams because they grow old, they grow old because they stop pursuing dreams.
