And the hits just keep coming. Ron Glass was a prolific movie and tv actor but for me the two roles he set the bar with were his Emmy nominated Detective Ron Harris on Barney Miller, and Sheperd Book on Firefly and it’s follow-up film, Serenity. He was truly a gifted actor and he will be sorely missed.

I remember ‘Barney Miller’. It used to be shown on TV here late at night, and was always interesting. I have ‘Serenity’ on DVD too. Shame to hear the news about Ron. What’s happening this year?

Such sad news 😦 I vaguely remember him from Barney Miller, but know him better as Shepherd from Firefly. So glad 2016 is almost over. Hopefully, 2017 won’t be so bad.
