I don’t think I know a single credit for this guy.

He was famous here in the U.S for playing Captain Apollo in the Battlestar Galactica tv series. ๐๐ป

So sad ๐ฆ I always like him, and he will always be Apollo to me. I grew up watching his Battlestar Galactica, and could never get into the new version after it.

It’s funny, because as cheesy as the original one was, I couldn’t get into the remake either.

I don’t recall ever watching that series, so he was unknown to me.
Sad for you to lose a teenage crush though, Kim.
Best wishes, Pete.

This was a hit here, but I don’t think it was shown over here. Thanks Pete.

I had such a crush on him when I was a kid! I loved him, while my sister was in love with Starbuck/Dirk Benedict.

So sad to hear this yesterday. I didn’t watch the original series, but absolutely loved the rebooted BSG.

I don’t know why but I couldn’t get into the remake despite the excellent cast. Maybe I was just too attached to the original?๐คท๐ปโโ๏ธIf I ever find the time I’d like to try it again.๐๐ป

I’m probably going to attempt a rewatch of the whole series (reboot) this year. My son is now old enough to appreciate it, and it’s just been too long for me, and I miss the characters. It’s really wonderful. I hope you give it a chance!

I definitely will try it!๐๐ป

One of my all-time favorite character actors and a nice guy to boot (at least in public)—I met him at a fantasy/science fiction convention. Sigh ๐ฆ
