Just in case any of you missed this most important holiday yesterday (as did I) I thought I’d call your attention to it so perhaps you can celebrate today. Now keep in mind this is not to be confused with the equally important National Waffle Iron Day which was on June 29th. Anyway, in honor of both of these auspicious days I thought I’d share with you some touching tributes to the always delicious waffle.
And finally, because none of my posts are truly complete without the Winchester brothers…

I LOVE THIS! And I love that you went back and added Donkey, one of the best lines ever! Now I feel like an utter failure since I made coconut blueberry pancakes for breakfast! Tomorrow it will be waffles. Thank you for the smile! 😁

Oh yeah! Cheesecake and pancakes are my weakness and addiction. Thank you for informing me about this awesome day. I always throw in whatever I have on hand like bananas and strawberries or pumpkin, it’s a lot of fun.

I love fresh fruit on or in my pancakes and waffles but I’ve never thought of using coconut. You’ve made my mouth water! And I’m not even going to start on my cheesecake addiction!

Beware, it is soooo good! My sister-in-law loves chocolate chips in hers which is good too but fresh fruit is so yummy. I could talk all day about food!
I know right?! There’s a saying I use “I’ve never met a cheesecake I haven’t liked.” And it’s so true. Sadly, so very true. 🙂

I’ve never had chocolate chips in my waffles, but I love them in pancakes! Wouldn’t it be lovely Jen if all that fresh fruit we love somehow negated all those calories?

My husband had some in a restaurant and now they’re his favorite. 😊 I don’t know about you Jen, but breakfast has always been my favorite meal of the day.
